Travel to the Capital City Was By Train
I booked tickets from Indore to Delhi on the Malwa Express. It is an AC three-tier train and the journey lasted five hours. We got off at Ajmeri Gate and from there took a taxi to the hotel where accommodation had been booked.
IBIS Delhi Airport
Our Accommodation at The IBIS Delhi Airport Was Lavish and Pampering
The IBIS Delhi Airport is a fabulous place to stay as it offers guests the most sophisticated comforts and facilities. We enjoyed a very comfortable time during our stay. Our rooms were well-furnished, equipped with facilities such as television, telephone, bottled water, mini-fridge, heater, coffee maker, safe, stylish attached bathrooms and a working area.
The hotel is located just 5 kilometers from the Delhi International Airport. In the evening, we would have a swim in the hotel’s pool, which is quite large and offers heated water. You can easily access various important places from the hotel, such as markets, shopping centers as well as important landmarks such as India Gate and Qutub Minar.

Sightseeing and Enjoying Various Cuisines
During our stay in Delhi city we visited the most important sightseeing venues, such as Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandini Chowk, Humayun’s Tomb, Lodi Gardens, Qutub Minar, India Gate and many more. Every place that we viewed inspired us with awe as we saw majestic architecture, else beautiful gardens or got a glimpse into the city’s colonial past.
During our stay we enjoyed the most sumptuous dishes in various restaurants and even street food, which is simply unmatched in Delhi. We were able to enjoy eating everything ranging from North Indian dishes to South Indian delicacies. We were also able to enjoy international cuisine, which shows the diversity of this city in terms of the kind of food services that it offers.
Sightseeing was done for a whole week. Not only did we visit monuments and historical venues, we also visited beautiful gardens and markets, where we were able to buy anything ranging from a torch light to the latest designer clothing at rock bottom prices. At the end of the week, we made a trip back home by train taking with us memories of a time beautiful spent exploring the capital city.
